Sessions can include family, children, senior, milestone, birthday, maternity, announcement, generation, lifestyle, pets....

Standard Sessions

~$300-$350~

Session is typically 30-45 minutes and includes 12 fully edited high resolution images that will be sent electronically as digital, downloadable files , including a copyright release, for you to use and print your images however you please! Location to be determined at time of booking. Family standard sessions include immediate family groups of 6 or less. If you are looking for an extended family session, see below for this session type information. (Please let me know if your immediate family includes more than 6 people, as that is an exception :)

**Client will receive an online proof gallery of around 40-50 partially edited images taken from their session.  Client will then get to select their favorite 12 of this proof gallery to be fully edited and sent back as high resolution, digital files within 2-3 weeks after final choices have been made.  Additional images can be purchased for $15 each and/or you can upgrade to an all inclusive gallery (see below). Final images can also  be edited into black and white images as an add-on option in addition to color images for $35 to be included in final gallery.  Kimberly Nelson Photography does NOT release partially edited images from proof galleries you receive.

All Inclusive Session/ Upgrade

~$495~

You can either purchase ahead of time to eliminate having to choose from a gallery, or if you would like to purchase all the proof images sent to you following your session, you may upgrade to the All Inclusive package after viewing your proofs.  For families of 6 or less. You will owe the remaining balance to total $495 if you choose to upgrade.  Final, fully edited images will be sent electronically as digital, downloadable files , including a copyright release, for you to use and print your images however you please! Location to be determined at time of booking.  Typically, upfront All Inclusive package selection includes anywhere from 40-50 images.

**If chosen at booking date, client will be sent a FINAL, downloadable gallery of fully edited high resolution images, including the copyright release form for you to print and share your images however you please! (No proof galleries because you will be receiving them all) Typically the final gallery is sent 2-3 weeks after session!

**If you would like your full gallery to also be included with black and white images, the cost is $35.00. 

Extended Family Sessions 

~$600-$650~

If you are looking for extended family packages, to take the guess work out of my above packages, I've created this package for groups larger than 6 people (multi-family groups). The hour long session is an all inclusive session, and you will receive all the usable images taken during our session. We will take as many different groupings  as possible in the time we have to provide your family with life-long memories! Typically, this package selection includes 60+ images.

**Client will be sent a FINAL, downloadable gallery of fully edited high resolution images, including the copyright release form for you to print and share your images however you please! Typically the final gallery is sent 2-3 weeks after session!

**If you would like your full gallery to also be included with black and white images, the cost is $35.00.

  • Weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun)-$650

Senior Sessions

~$250---$400~

Make your senior session your own by choosing the package that fits what you are looking for!

Option 1: Mini Senior Session-$250 (weeknight only)

This is for someone looking to get in and get out and grab a few shots to commemorate their senior year.  This session is $250 and includes a 20-30 minute session for 10 fully edited high resolution images that will be sent electronically as digital, downloadable files , including a copyright release, for you to use and print your images however you please! This session does not include outfit changes, so it's perfect for that person that just wants those few special photos in a short amount of time!

Option 2: Full Senior Session-$350 weeknight/ $400 weekend

This is for someone looking for the full experience of a senior photo shoot! This session is $350 and includes a 60 minute time slot and includes 16 (plus a free parent/senior photo*) fully edited high resolution images that will be sent electronically as digital, downloadable files , including a copyright release, for you to use and print your images however you please! 

  • Full senior sessions include 2-3 outfit changes with a portable on site changing tent to make things easy! Typically, a senior girl may bring one dress, one casual outfit, and an optional outfit to fit their style.  A senior boy may bring one dressier type outfit and one more casual. Outfit changes are up to you, as some prefer no changes at all!  A senior is also welcome to wear a team or club uniform or bring a "prop" to represent them (instrument, sport equipment, cap and gown, etc). This is their session to represent them at this milestone, so feel free to make the session your own!
     

  • One thing to keep in mind, however, the more outfit changes, the larger the proof gallery, which can sometimes make the selection process challenging. If you're a good decision maker, this won't be a problem! :) Please also keep in mind the session length when considering how many outfits to bring.  It does take time to make the outfit changes and I will usually have another session scheduled before or after yours and will need to stick to the allotted time frame.  Thank you!

ALL SENIOR SESSIONS (mini or full) INCLUDE: 

**Clients will receive an online proof gallery of partially edited images taken from their session (number of proofs dependent on how many outfits)..  Client will then get to select their favorite 10/16 images of this proof gallery to be fully edited and sent back as high resolution, digital files within 2-3 weeks after final choices have been made.  Additional images can be purchased for $12 each and/or you can upgrade to an all inclusive gallery (see pricing). Final images can also be edited into black and white images as an add-on option in addition to the included color images for $35.  

 

 

Themed Birthday Sessions! 
~$295~
(12 total images)
If you are looking to take a birthday session a step further, book a themed birthday session! This session differs from a standard session as you can customize it to whatever theme or color scheme you prefer! The possibilities are endless!  It also includes a smash cake portion (cake provided by client because of allergen and safety protocols).  I will work with you on what you are envisioning and do my best to create that for your child's big birthday! Birthdays hold a special place in my heart and I'm happy to customize however you would like!

Half Birthday and 1st Birthday Themed Sessions! 
~$375~
(20 total images)
This package includes a half birthday session (8 images) and a custom themed first birthday session(12 images).  So much development happens within those first 6 months, but then again at 12 months! You won't regret capturing those big developmental stages of your little one!

Watch Me Grow Milestone Sessions! 
~$475~

Watching our little ones grow up that first year happens in the blink of an eye! This package allows you to capture those big changes that happen around 3 months (5 images), 6 months (8 images), 9 months (5 images), and then the big FIRST birthday (12 images!) There are four session meetings in this package within the first year to capture the head up, sit up, stand up, and the big ONE stages!  Scheduled based on your child's development.

***General Information For All Session Packages***

~I have several locations I like to shoot here in Crystal Lake or nearby. I am open to new locations you may have in mind, however they need to be within 10 miles of Crystal Lake due to my scheduling constraints. 

~If you would like to purchase additional images on top of any purchased package, the cost will be $12.00 per image, or you can upgrade packages.

~If you would like your final gallery to also include all images edited in black and white, you can add this on for $35.00 to any package.

~There is an additional $50.00 uncharge for any weekend date scheduled, due to my very limited weekend availability.


~Sometimes, especially during the fall, I schedule multiple regular sessions in one night. You may be scheduled ahead of, or after,  another session.  This is to help accommodate everyone looking for pictures and my tight schedule.  Thank you for your understanding!

~Please understand that it may take me up to 2 weeks to get you your partially edited proofs and an additional 2 weeks to get you your final images once you've made your choices.  Please schedule accordingly based on your need to have your pictures.  

~As mentioned above, KNP does not release images from any partially edited galleries sent to clients to be included "as is"  in final gallery releases.  Thank you for your understanding!
